During the Erasmus+ funding period, 73 students completed the auditor training programme and with 60 going on to complete an audit of a university against the Benchmark Standards for University Social Responsibility.  The development of the training programme was led by Kaunas University of Technology along with input from across the project consortium.  The programme was delivered, in blended mode, prior to each of the four audits completed during the funding period, with improvements made to the programme materials following each round of training.

The training was designed to reach the following outcomes:

• Students will be able to identify problems and resources of the University Social Responsibility (USR);
• Students will have knowledge about social audit and will be able to perform an auditing process on social responsibility at a University;
• Students will be able to conduct interviews with focus groups and individuals as tools to carry out an audit and collect data;
• Students will be able to analyse the data collected and reflect on it;
• Students will have skills in writing and presenting a report as feedback to the institution audited;
• Students will be able to self-reflect and self-assess personal learning.

The key output from this activity are training resources which enables the training programme to be delivered by other universities, along with course materials for students to accompany their participation in face to face training.  You can access these resources here.
